  List of actors

Actors are brought up in the order, in which they are processed by the player. CheckBoxes allow setting activity of an actor in the current scenario.
You can edit the name of an actor by clicking for the second time on the selected actor. Icons next to the name show actor type:

Regular actor
Light source
Mobile camera
Path for another actor

Create a new actor out of an object, selected in the drawing
Create a mobile camera to move in the scene

Delete selected actor. Note: the initial object is not removed from the drawing by this command. 

Fill in the list of actors from the current drawing
Save scenario changes in the drawing

All commands of this toolbar can also be found in the Local Menu, which is accessed by right-clicking on the List of actors

  Actor commands list

The commands are placed in order of executing them by the player.
The following settings are made for each command –

            From, To – start and end frame of command execution

             Command – name of the command

            Param-1, Param-2 … - parameters of the command

Frames of the commands may overlap. Results of executing overlapping commands are summarized in the order of their execution.
You can edit command field by clicking on the required field.
To define a new command:

    - Click on a blank line of Command field. 

    - Select command name from the displayed list. (Commands that are not applicable to the particular actor, are grayed out.)

    - Define the frames for executing the command and its parameters. Names of parameters for the current command are displayed in the table header.

Add a copy of the selected command
Delete the selected command
Move the selected command within the list
Switch Animation Lab to the Recorder Mode
Switch Animation Lab to the  Edit Scenario Mode
Save actor commands in a file or load them

The following actions are accessible while loading:

    - Changing of all current commands to those loaded from the file

    - Adding of the loaded commands to the current ones

    - Defining of the start frame for execution of the loaded commands 

    - Changing of actor name to the name, saved in the file

 

Options dialog

   General Page

Auto load Actors from active drawing
automatically refreshes the list of actors upon starting ScenarioEditor, changing the active drawing, loading new drawing, etc.
If this option is turned off, the list of actors can be refreshed by pressing the button: 
-Refresh Actors List
Auto apply changes of Actor settings and Scenario
when this option is turned on, all changes in the list of commands or the name of an actor are immediately saved in the drawing.
If this option is turned off, saving changes in the drawing can be done using the command:
-Save Actors in Drawing
Auto select Actors in the Drawing
 – if this option is turned on, then when an actor is selected from the list, the corresponding object will be selected in the drawing.
 
 Auto find selected graphic in the actors list
– if this option is turned on, then when an object is selected in the drawing, the corresponding actor will be activated in the list of actors.

Player Settings:

Number of frames  - number of frames that will be processed by the player.
All Frames - the number of frames is calculated automatically.

Check command syntax – when this option is turned on, correctness of parameters of each command of the scenario will be checked before running.

Save Drawing before playing Scenario  - since the initial drawing is modified during the process of executing scenario commands, it is necessary to save it before starting the player. If this option is turned on, the initial drawing will be automatically saved and opened when the player finishes its work.

Show Debug dialog (slow work) – if this option is turned on, a window with Progress Meter and Cancel button will appear after starting the player. This allows terminating execution of the scenario, but slows down player’s work.

Save Frames as bitmap files – the result of player’s work will be saved as a set of BMP files; the name of each of them will consist of the name, defined in the editing field, and the number of the frame.

Save Frame range -  when this option is turned on, only the frames ranging from the number set in From field to    the number set in To field will be saved in a file. 

    Movie Maker Page

 Using Movie creator

None  - Select this option if you do not want to use Movie creation program. The result of player’s work will be a set of BMP files. 

Built-in  (AVI)  - This option is for using the built-in program for creating AVI file.

 
External - Checking this option will bring up the program, defined in Path to movie creation program field, after the player finishes its work.
 

 Built-In AVI creator – settings of the built-in program for creating AVI file

Frame rate   - playback rate in number of frames per second

Compression Settings  – selection of the method and setting of compression for AVI file

Add new BMP frame immediately  – when this option is turned on, BMP files will be added to AVI file as soon as they are created during the player’s work. When the option is turned off, the built-in AVI file creation program will be brought up after the player finishes its work.

Delete BMP frames – if this option is turned on, BMP files will be deleted after creation of AVI file
